Who created Bien Fait?

Bien Fait was born with the idea of saving the planet! Creator Lorraine Bonduelle graduated with masters degrees in both photography and sustainable development from prestigious French universities. In daily life, Lorraine is committed to reducing her carbon footprint. Bien Fait is her dream shop: useful, beautiful, long-lasting, sustainable objects developed with the traditional know- how of craftsmen. With Bien Fait, Lorraine proposes an ecological and economical lifestyle, so that the Earth can keep spinning and we can all enjoy it!

Why is it "bien fait" (well done)?

Bien Fait objects are precisely curated! The criteria is to be beautiful, useful, (very) long-lasting AND as sustainable as possible: Objects have a minimum environmental footprint and help contribute to a better world. We pay attention to materials, techniques, territories, water and energy consumption, carbon emissions, waste produced or avoided etc. As for packaging and shipping materials, all of the materials are reused, mostly from our suppliers.

Are all products manufactured in France?

Bien Fait objects come from France and other countries, the only criteria being quality and the respect of people and the planet.

Where do the products come from?

France, Switzerland, Germany, UK and Austria mainly. Two products come from the United States (the glass straw and the food wrap), and two others come from China! "China? What?!?" Yes, one of them, the konjac sponge is made of konjac root, a plant that grows there. The other one is the reusable ear cleaner: it is made of bamboo that also grows there. These two products are manufactured in factories that have been visited by our supplier Lamazuna that we fully trust as long as social and environmental protection are concerned.

How can I order?

Select the products you want to buy and add them to your cart. You can pay with MasterCard – Visa – American Express – Aurore – Cofinoga / Privilège – Cofidis 4 étoiles or directly with your PayPal account. You can also pay via bank transfer or check, but this will take longer since we will wait for your payment before sending your order. Please call or write us if you are having trouble getting through your order and we will do our best to help!

What is your delivery policy?


You have three options to get your package:
- If you are in Paris, you can pick it up for free by appointment at metro Laumière.
-You can choose a drop off point near your address.
- You can also get your package delivered at home via Colissimo.


- It’s free if you come to our storage facility in Paris.
- Drop off point deliveries are from 4,55 €.
- Home delivery is from 6,50 €.


You should receive your parcel within 8 to 10 days in mainland France at your home address or a parcel drop off point if all articles are in stock and if you paid via credit card or paypal. Delivery times will be longer in all these cases:
- if you chose the drop off point delivery (delivery time is not guaranteed),
- if you order products that are not in stock,
- if you paid via check or bank transfer,
- and if your delivery address is not in mainland France.
As soon as we ship your order, you will received a tracking number by email to check the status of your package.

Can I get my order delivered outside France or Europe?

Yes you can!

Can I send back articles that didn't meet my expectations?

An article that you ordered did not meet your expectations? Please log in and go to « orders ». Select the desired order, then select the articles that you would like to send back. You can also add a comment so that we understand why you are sending the articles back. Costs of returning products are at your expense. (If you paid via paypal, the return charges can be refunded under certain conditions.) You will receive an e-mail as soon as the articles were returned, confirming if the return is accepted, providing that the following conditions are met: The articles are in excellent condition, can be sold again and in their original packaging. In case of a refund, you will be informed via e-mail and we will refund you via paypal.

Can I buy a gift card?

Yes you can! If you want to give the gift of Bien Fait to your friends and family, but can’t decide what, purchase a gift card! It can be of any amount in multiples of 10 €: 1 = 10 €, 5 = 50 €, 50 = 500 €… You will receive the gift card via e-mail. Using the code in the email, the lucky beneficiary will deduct the gifted amount from his/her order, not including shipping. Please note that the card can only be used once.
